Speaking to the Youngstown Vindicator yesterday, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Ed FitzGerald continued to demonstrate how out of touch he is with Ohioans.
According to the Vindicator when speaking about driving without a license for years, FitzGerald said, “I didn’t pay attention to it. I didn’t get pulled over. I didn’t have a situation where I was getting away with something other people weren’t.“
In response Ohio Republican Party spokesman Chris Schrimpf said, “Arrogant Ed has been telling so many different stories, even he can’t keep them all straight. For nearly ten years Ed FitzGerald got away with driving illegally while others were driving legally. And as County Executive Ed FitzGerald punished other employees who did exactly what he did, drive without a license. FitzGerald’s audacity is as limitless as his ambition.”
According to the Northeast Ohio Media Group, “As Cuyahoga County executive, Ed FitzGerald has disciplined employees for not holding a valid driver’s license – something the former FBI agent and Democratic candidate for governor himself lacked for years.

The Ohio Republican Party released a new web video detailing how Democrat John “Carnocchio” Carney has been misleading and lying to Ohioans. “Carnocchio” Carney has been airing a negative television ad that has been labeled as false and misleading by at least three independent news organizations.
“John Carney has introduced himself to Ohioans by revealing himself to be a liar who couldn’t be trusted to be an independent auditor,” said Ohio Republican Party Chairman Matt Borges. “Again and again independent news outlets have called out his lies and even his own campaign spokesperson admitted it wasn’t true. Carney’s actions show him to be just another partisan politician who can’t tell the truth.”
Last week the Ohio Republican Party launched a website, http://www.Carnocchio.com/ to detail Carney’s partisan ways and problems with the truth. It shows how Carney is Ohio’s new Pinocchio
